['then' Is Now an Alias for 'yield_self' (in Ruby 2.6)](https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/issues/14594) — [Kernel#yield_self](https://blog.bigbinary.com/2017/12/12/ruby-2-5-added-yield_self.html) was added to Ruby 2.5 as a way to yield the receiver to the given block and return any onward result. It’s [awesome](https://zverok.github.io/blog/2018-01-24-yield_self.html) but there have been [doubts over its name](https://zverok.github.io/blog/2018-03-23-yield_self2.html). Matz has now considered things and has declared `then` as a suitable alternative.
